Angela Sarkis, who was national secretary, left the organisation on 4 April. David Bedford, who was chair, left his post the following week. The two are understood to have been in conflict, although details of any grievances have not been disclosed. Sarkis was appointed national secretary in August 2006, and was the first woman to take the job. Bedford had been chair of the national board for three years.
