Darnall Youth, a youth group run by local charity Sheffield Futures, planted trees at Darnall Fire Station with the co-operation of parks and fire services. The young people also picked up litter as part of the initiative. Teenagers from the project have been learning about the benefits of recycling and eating organic food and also went on a three-day residential trip to an eco-friendly outdoor activity centre in Somerset.
