The scheme, based at the newly refurbished Bishop Rawle Primary School, allows social services to hold meetings between children and their families at the school's community facilities. The initiative started as a temporary measure because social services had nowhere to hold family-friendly visits. However, it has proved so popular with children and families that Staffordshire council wants to expand it county-wide.
