Young people are "fed up with being criminalised, the stories about hoodies and how kids bully, steal or even kill," according to Alice Barrett, St John Ambulance national cadet of the year. The 18-year-old wants to see young people appreciated and acknowledged for what they do, instead of stereotyped as good-for-nothings who hang around on the streets.
