A report from public spending watchdog the National Audit Office has found local 14 to 19 partnerships have good support, but many are apprehensive about the future. The introduction of diplomas, which have a wider remit than traditional academic qualifications, is one potential challenge. In the report the audit office states that involving local employers in diplomas will be key to their success. But over two-thirds of partnerships reported problems getting businesses to sign up to provide work placements....
