A group of charities led by online organisation YouthNet are to spend £5m over the next three years helping young people who face social exclusion. The money has come from Reach, Vodafone UK Foundation's funding programme, and will be used to empower and equip all 16-25 year olds to make informed life choices about their work, study and training. YouthNet, Rathbone, the Foyer Federation and education and disability charity Skill will work with the foundation over the coming months to develop a detailed programme ready for its launch in April 2008.
