Disadvantaged teenagers are being given the chance to learn to ski after a youth charity received £100,000 in funding. Youth charity Snow-Camp will take 110 disadvantaged young people from 20 projects in inner-city London to ski resort Les Deux Alpes in France for one week in April 2008. The project will see them learn to ski and snowboard and has run annually for four years. The funding comes from a number of sources including The Skiers Trust of Great Britain and a donation from a wealthy skier.
