The Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland is holding a summit to discuss the high numbers of young drivers dying on the roads. Led by Tayside chief constable John Vine, the young driver strategy summit on 6 September will consider the House of Commons Transport Committee report on novice drivers and advise the Scottish Executive on any future strategy.
