The Youth Justice Board is reviewing whether Welsh-speaking young people are having their needs met in custody. The board will be taking a “snapshot” of the number of Welsh-speaking young people in custody across England and Wales to review the provision of Welsh language services, including education provided in Welsh, in the secure estate.
