Youth clubs in Scotland are to be upgraded after a multi-million pound funding boost from the Scottish Executive. A total of £5m from the Capital Improvement Fund is being handed to more than 200 organisations. The money will go towards improvements to the youth facilities across Scotland. Dundee North West Youth Work Team received £90,500 to refurbish its building while Wigtown Youth Forum in Dumfries and Galloway got £56,000 to pay for building repairs and outdoor equipment.
