The forthcoming green paper on prison education is likely to encourage businesses to help prevent youth reoffending. Criminal justice minister Baroness Scotland said that the paper "will reinforce our other strands, such as the Corporate Alliance we launched to involve employers in reducing reoffending, and the National Reducing Reoffending Delivery Plan that launched in November".
