Around 40 transport projects that help rural young people to get around face closure after a minister admitted they would not receive any more money. Projects began 12 months ago with a one-year, £10,000 grant from the Countryside Agency. Half of the money was spent on establishing new youth transport schemes, while the remainder went towards researching existing schemes.
