Early Steps Pre-school in Northumberland has celebrated the launch of its new mobile unit after a fundraising campaign by children, parents and the South Beach Residents Association, including a sponsored bounce, a march and a toddle staged by the mother and toddler group. The pre-school has moved out of premises in the grounds of South Beach First School where it had been housed since 1997, to make way for a unit for children with special needs. It has relocated to land owned by the local community centre.
