Children are to have greater access to Welsh-medium nursery provision in Wales. The Welsh Assembly has allocated an additional £7m in support of bilingual nursery education in the years 2004 to 2006, so that there will be more trained practitioners capable of delivering nursery provision in Welsh by September 2006.
