The start of National Childcare Month

Nursery World
30 May 2002

The start of National Childcare Month is being marked in the London borough of Lewisham by a 'Childcare Question Time' at the town hall on 7 June from 10.30am to 3pm. The event has been organised by Lewisham Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and taking part will be six panellists, including Liz McDermott, founder of the Playgroup Network, and Guardian education correspondent Rebecca Smithers. Childcarers in Lewisham or the parents of children attending a nursery, playgroup or out-of-school club who want to book a free place to attend the event should ring Ally Harwood on 01626 852030.
